Continuing our Premier People series in 2026, in conversation with Kia Prosser

Marking three years in the business, we sit down and discuss Kia’s journey. Adding another chapter to the Premier People book. Sitting down for an “In Conversation with” the recently promoted Office Manager.
Proving her worth in substantial fashion, Kia has built a reputation for clear and concise communication in the past 3 years. She joined PCC in 2023 as a Business Administrator. Last year, she accepted the role of Office Manager. Kia stepped up as the first point of contact in August of 2025. With relationships already well established with plenty of customers by that point, Kia was a step ahead when getting in touch with customers.
When announcing her promotion in August of last year, Managing Director Lee Charles said:
“Kia has performed excellently for many years with us now, seeing her grow within the business has been fantastic to watch”.
Kia has shown her determination to succeed in a management role, early in her career. With consistency being key in her approach, she is organised and very often the calm head in the office. Ensuring the whole team is running like clockwork.

Q&A
Kia, last year was a great one for you professionally, how are you feeling after this Christmas break?
As we move into the New Year, I always like to take this time to reflect and not be too hard on myself. As humans, we tend to critique ourselves and everything around us too much. I’m feeling very positive about this year and I’m looking forward to new ventures to come (obviously within the business, I am not looking for a new job!).
The last two years at PCC have been a transitional period for everyone, including myself, we’ve added new products to our expanded range, and had some important promotions and new people joining the business. I am intrigued to see what is ahead. As always, I’m hoping we all grow bigger and better as a company.
It’s been nearly 6 months in your new role, how are you finding the transition?
I am enjoying my role a lot, I’ve enjoyed taking on the responsibility and taking on some of the challenges. It has been nice to get to know the customers better and create some great relationships with everyone internally and externally.
In the last few years, we have grown as a company and introduced a lot more products, it has been a good time to analyse the processes we have in place and look for efficiencies. My main goal is to make life easier for myself and most importantly, our customers.

What are your next aims / hopes for the future?
In all honesty, I haven’t got any set goals in place right now. Outside of work, I do like to take a slower pace of life at the beginning of the year. Obviously, travelling and living life to the fullest is something I value. To travel is my main aim.
I would like to start a hobby this year, but I have not come round to deciding what yet!
Within the business, I would say to keep up the sales and quality of work, we have had developments with products and changes of products over time which has been testing at times. But this is part of the process when diversifying. We’ll continue to do this, and to continue to adapt when those obstacles arise, that’s the key aim.
Since starting your role, have you had any particular challenges that you’ve had to overcome?
I always find these questions difficult to answer, no one likes to admit their weaknesses! However, the 3 years I have been employed at PCC have been the quite transformational for the company. We have a lot of movement in products and processes, so it has been a bit challenging at times to adapt. But I’ve got there!
Getting to grips with a new industry was a challenge too. I came from an accountancy background so taking this job on was a big change. However, I am happy I took the risk! The future is looking bright and there’s a successful future ahead for us all at PCC.

You’re a keen jetsetter, where in the world would you like to travel to next?
I am hoping to travel and see more of the world. South America has always been on my bucket list; it looks amazing over there. My best friend Caitlin lives in Australia, so I am determined to get over there at some point as well. Thailand is on the list too, but the team will tell you… Anywhere with a gorgeous sunny beach, blaring sun and cocktail in hand is my kind of destination.
Last year, I travelled to lots of different countries around Europe with my other best friend Willow which has been such a life changing experience. We are continuing our travels this year in Europe as there is so much history and sights to see, I’m excited!
