PCC17 is a hydrophobic adhesive, meaning that it actively repels water. Perfect for those GHS applications where you need a weather-proof label! It can even be applied underwater!

Putting it to the test!
In a recent laboratory test, we put our material against three of it’s closest competing counterparts. The results spoke for themselves!
The combination of the renowned PPG TESLIN® substrate and Premiers specialist PCC17 adhesive showed that, compared to its nearest competitor*, our construction performs:
>100% better on 24 hour peel strength (FTM1)
>18% better on 20 minute peel strength (FTM1)
>11%better on loop tack tests (FTM9)
In addition; our in-house testing also showed similar results when tested on HDPE test plates. (This test was carried out due to the potential future changes in BS5609 accreditation where products will be tested for immersion in seawater on HDPE alongside the current steel plate material.)
